Iain Irwin

Iain works with Adults, Teens, and Children. He offers Individual, Family, or Couples/Marital therapy. He specializes in a variety of issues, such as depression, anxiety, addiction, adhd, and life transitions, to name a few. His love of therapy and working with client’s stems from the idea of getting in the sandpit with the client and working through the mess that comes from life.

Iain’s excitement and passion in therapy naturally occurs as the client explores his/her emotions, increasing vulnerability to promote healing. This vulnerability is what fuels Iain’s intrigue to work with people in their mess. He believes that Christ created all individuals with a desire for intimacy, connectedness and relationship.

Professionally trained, Iain is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). He earned his master’s degree from Wheaton College in Marriage and Family Therapy. Iain also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Taylor University.

Iain currently lives in Raleigh with his wife, Sarah and their one dog, Luna. He enjoys walks at night with his wife and reading fiction books.
